Autumn Mid-Term Break at The Galmont — outdoor adventures and indoor cooking demos

Autumn is a great time for family walks and a perfect time for the whole tribe to go collecting leaves, acorns, pinecones and conkers. Explore the beautiful walking and hiking amenities that are right on The Galmont’s doorstep including Knockma Hill, Barna Woods and Merlin Woods. Or take a spin to  Kylemore Abbey, Diamond Hill, Connemara National Park, Coole Park, Renville Park or any one of the beautiful sandy beaches nearby.

From Monday 26th to Friday 30th October at 3pm in the Burren Panoramic Suite, Chef Adrian will demo a range of kid’s kitchen activities and techniques, from pizza decoration to baking soda bread and making homemade granola. You never know — this might be the perfect inspiration for your own budding mini masterchef!

Stay & Spend Scheme

The Stay and Spend Tax Credit is a new tax credit available for the years 2020 and 2021 and The Galmont Hotel is a registered premises for the scheme.

You can claim the Stay and Spend credit for qualifying expenditure incurred between 1 October 2020 and 30 April 2021. This includes expenditure on holiday accommodation and “eat in” food and drinks.

The Stay and Spend tax credit is equal to up to 20% of qualifying expenditure incurred, up to certain limits.
