2019 marks the 117th anniversary of the Galway St. Patrick's Day Parade.
St Patrick's Festival Parade Galway features an array local artists, community, cultural, sporting and international groups that aim to celebrate the cities diverse culture and talent through an inclusive programme of events. The beauty of the Galway Parade is that it is small enough for groups to truly feel a part of, yet big enough to create a special atmosphere. The Parade route is thronged with spectators from start to finish, creating a non-stop carnival atmosphere.

The Parade will start at 11.30am from NUIG and wind its way down University Road, over Salmon Weir Bridge, up Eglington Street street and past the viewing stand in Eyre Square finishing at approximately 1pm on Bothar Na mBan.
