We have finally sat down to write a note to express our heartfelt thanks to you both and all the team at the Galmont for making our wedding day the day of our dreams....it was truly perfect! From the moment we spoke to Karen in January 2020 we knew the Veranda Lounge was exactly what we wanted for our day. We were fortunate to have everything booked and arranged before the pandemic hit…three lockdowns and a baby later we were so delighted to have our wedding on the date we originally planned! We never had to worry during lockdowns...Niamh and Karen both checked in to keep us updated with any changes, the latest news and to just check how we were doing! You both made everything in the lead up so easy! The day was perfect from start to finish, the outdoor ceremony on the Veranda was beautiful, the food was AMAZING, the staff were so attentive and professional, even thinking of a gift for our daughter's birthday...the day was so personal. We couldn’t recommend The Galmont enough....the day went beyond everything we could have hoped for!

"I want to take this opportunity to thank both Niamh & Aisling and all those involved on our wedding day. Everything was perfect from the day we booked to the planning and the time leading up to the day to the day itself. The hotel was so nicely presented on the day- the reception area was gorgeous, the room for dinner and dancing was so nicely decorated and carefully laid out, the food was excellent and there was no stress on us at all- even when we ran late for dinner! Even little things like your help with Dad to the wedding car, all those things were noticed and appreciated.
We have heard so many compliments back about the Galmont regarding the bedrooms and the level of comfort, again the food on the night and in the hotel in general. The food at 3am (pizza and Tayto sandwiches) went down a treat among our guests. A number of guests also commented on the wine at the meal both in terms of quality and quantity, they were very impressed with the generous flow of wine throughout the meal. As far as we were concerned we were a very lucky couple to have had our wedding in the Galmont supported by you and your team. We booked and planned a wedding within 4 months, that is only made easy by the people you meet, so thank you for that. We truly appreciate it."

"We celebrated our wedding on 25th August 2017 in The Galmont (formerly the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Galway City) and we could not recommend the hotel enough to all bride and grooms out there.
The hotel exceeded all our expectations, it is such a beautiful setting and our guests thought so too. The sun shone and we were able to enjoy the veranda overlooking Galway Bay and the Inis Mór Ballroom was decorated so beautifully. The staff were exceptional and no request was too much trouble. They were so attentive to our guests and made us feel very at ease and comfortable. Many of our guests travelled from different locations and they were all so impressed with the hotel and the staff, many of them have said they will definitely be returning.
The food was DELICIOUS! Adrian Bane and his team are truly gifted, we have not had one negative comment about the food and I know a few people who had seconds! Everything was served promptly and piping hot and we have to give special thanks to the waiting staff who made this possible. The bar was well staffed and nobody had to wait to be served too long. We partied late into the night and were looked after all the way.
From day one, we were reassured by the team that organising the wedding from Germany would be no problem and from start to finish, we felt confident that our wedding day was going to be amazing. All of the planning was stress-free thanks to the help and support we received. Nothing was ever a problem or too much trouble.

Our wedding experience was a thoroughly enjoyable one, from Day 1 meeting Jean & talking through all the options we never felt under any pressure or obligation to rush into a decision.
Everybody at our wedding was raving about the food & quality of service on the day – the hotel itself looks amazing after its recent renovation & helps create a real vibrant atmosphere on the day.
Given we had a sunny day for our wedding the availability of balcony area to enjoy the fine weather was really enjoyed by all guests.
We also availed of the option to have a barbecue the following day in the Veranda lounge for our families which was another brilliant experience.

"Myself and my husband had our wedding reception in The Galmont Hotel (then the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Galway) in December 2016 and I can honestly say from start to finish we couldn’t be happier. Jean O’Grady, the wedding co-ordinator, is wonderful to work with and is an absolute credit to the hotel. She is very professional with a lovely warm smile and any details we wanted added or changed were never a problem. She kept in close contact with us throughout the planning and she made it all very easy and calm.
On the wedding day itself we had the best time. The bridal suite is phenomenal and there was tonnes of room for all the bridal party to get their hair and makeup done. The hotel was so generous with food and drink throughout the whole day. There were loads of canapes at the reception, the dinner was fabulous and the wine kept flowing! We stayed eating and drinking and laughing till the wee hours of the morning and had so much fun. Honestly, I could not fault the service we received, it was absolutely flawless.
I have no hesitations recommending to anyone thinking of having their wedding there. You will not be disappointed! We are so glad we chose here as our wedding venue and would like to thank all the staff for making our day so special."

"We got married at The Galmont Hotel in August 2016. When we were looking at hotels to have our reception after getting engaged the previous July, we met with Jean O’Grady from the Radisson. From the very first minute we met Jean, we knew we had the perfect location and the perfect person to help us prepare for our big day.
In the run up to our wedding day and in the preparations for our big day, Jean was extremely professional and a dream to work with. Without Jean's help we could not have had the fantastic day we had. Jean was very willing to listen to any little concern or idea we may have had and advised us on a perfect solution each time.
From the moment we arrived to the Veranda Lounge for our reception drinks after our wedding ceremony everything was perfect! The Veranda Lounge was brilliantly set up and helped our guests to mingle and get them in to a relaxed and carefree mood, and the canapes were delicious!
The main ballroom was splendidly laid out and the wedding tables looked amazing on the day. The bar was well staffed by brilliant staff and our guests never had to wait long to get a drink. The food was absolutely amazing and our guests are still complimenting us on our venue choice and the meal they received. This is all thanks to the hotel!
We stayed overnight for 3 nights during our wedding weekend and the staff were very attentive to our presence and ensuring our stay was perfect! They could not have done any more for us, we were so impressed by their professionalism!

"We got married on the 11th June 2016 and we decided on The Galmont Hotel as our reception venue - we are so delighted that we did. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Jean, our wedding coordinator, was a dream! Nothing was too much trouble! She helped us every step along the way in every way that she could! Jean is professional, experienced and made planning our wedding so easy and so much fun! You can tell how dedicated she is to her job and her clients - I cannot praise her enough for everything done for us, from the build up to our day to the end of our wedding day. The staff...WOW! From start to finish they were fantastic. The venue looked amazing! It had a major WOW factor! Our guests could not praise the food, the venue and the staff enough. The bar staff were excellent! They were catering for a big wedding and no one had to wait or queue at the bar. The managers were very attentive and made sure all went to plan (we felt like all we had to do was turn up). From start to finish I cannot praise the staff enough! We were three days in this hotel and we felt like royalty.
The staff always engaged with us and made our stay so much fun! We didn't want to go home!
I would definitely recommend Jean and the staff to any couple looking for a relaxing, fun and amazing wedding! We would probably insist that you have them!
